I fear that I might be about to bid on an Ebay Singer sewing machine with treddle. There is one with exactly the fittings that my grandmother's had, on which we used to play for hours (the treddle is hynotic) performing hideous surgery on the draft exclude sausage dogs (my cousin got it, this is fair enough as she actually had somewhere to put it). Actually, it isn't exactly the same - one on the same page is instead, but in poor condition - as my grandmother's had the machine sunk into the top (never quite understood how this worked), and different knobs on the little drawers. Goodness knows where I would put it. As they are not exactly rare, it might be more sensible to wait.
